Columbia Winery
Founded in 1962 by a group of University of Washington college professors who were united in the belief that European vinifera vines could survive the harsh Washington winters and that fine wine could be made in Washinton State. David Lake, Master of Wine, joined Columbia Winery in 1979 as winemaker and has continued the pioneering spirit of Columbia Winery's founders. He was the first winemaker to produce several varietals in Washington, including Cabernet Franc and Pinot Gris. The winery has the state's largest tasting bar.
Chateau Ste. Michelle is Washington State's oldest winery founded in the 1930's. Known for its highly acclaimed Chardonnay, Merlot, Riesling and Cabernet. Chateau Ste. Michelle receives some of the highest accolades in the industry, including "American Winery of the Year 2004" by Wine Enthusiast magazine. Browse the wine shop for award-winning wines, unique gifts and Northwest cheeses to enjoy on beautiful grounds.
Silver Lake uses bordeaux, rhone and burgundian style varietal grapes from its estate vineyard, Roza Hills in eastern Washington. The winery also hosts a number of wine events year round that you can find out about by visiting their website.

Pyramid Brewing
Begun in the small logging town of Kalama, Washington, Pyramid has since expanded into a wheat beer mecca, with breweries and brewpubs up and down the West coast, and beer distributed across the nation. The alehouse, located just across the street from Mariner’s Safeco Field, has three Weizen beers, an IPA, and two rotating seasonals.
